- SICILIAN TRAPANESE PESTO - EMPORIO SICILIA:
This is an artisanal recipe originally from western Sicily, created to season busiate, the typical pasta from Trapani, or spaghetti.
It is an ancient dish: Genoese ships from the East stopped in the port of Trapani, bringing the tradition of Ligurian garlic and walnut-based garlic and nuts, which was prepared by Trapani sailors with the products of their land, tomato and almonds.
- SICILIAN CAPONATA - EMPORIO SICILIA:
Sophistication lies in the ability to use ingredients of opposite flavors to create dishes with fantastic flavors.
There are sweet and sour and spicy flavors.
The basic ingredient is aubergine, which is expertly prepared with only vegetable ingredients, respecting tradition and using fresh products, harvested when fully ripe.
