DESCRIPTION

• SHORT BUSIATE PASTA - SICILY NATURALLY: Trapanese busiate are a tasty and fragrant first course, typical of the Sicilian tradition. The protagonist is a short pasta format, with a characteristic spiral shape, still prepared by hand with great skill and speed by Sicilian housewives.

• TRAPANESE PESTO – EMPORIO SICILIA: Trapanese Pesto is an exquisite condiment, typical of Sicilian cuisine, in particular of Trapani; it differs from the classic Pesto alla Genovese because it is based on blanched tomatoes, almonds, pecorino cheese, basil, garlic and extra virgin olive oil, crushed together in a mortar. Imagine it full-bodied, with a creamy and grainy consistency and a rich, Mediterranean flavour.

• CAPONATA - EMPORIO SICILIA : Sicilian caponata is a tale of ancient aromas that take us back in time. They take us with memories to our grandmother's kitchen, among the fragrances of freshly cooked vegetables and hot bread just out of the oven.

• BLACK FIG JAM – ALICOS: The extreme delicacy of the ripe fruit is revealed in the soft chunky consistency, with its typical grains. Fig jam, made with fresh figs. Delicate and intense taste. Excellent for spreading. It goes well with soft or medium-aged cheeses.

• SICILIAN ZIBIBBO WINE: Magnificent dessert wine, ideal with all dry and creamy pastries, also to be tried with nougat, fruit and traditional Sicilian artisanal ice creams

• AGNUNI WITH ALMONDS – MAMMA ANDREA'S PECCATUCCI: The 'Agnuni' or the Sicilian reinterpretation of the «Cantucci», with almonds or pistachios. We are particularly proud of it! But also the chocolate shortcrust pastry stars with crunchy hazelnuts and the almond spumini, crumbly almond-based biscuits without flour. Have fun changing!
