What does "Capuliato" mean?

The original name in Sicilian means minced , however in other areas of Sicily, but not in the Piana di Vittoria where it was born and thanks to which it spread, it is also called capuliata, especially to refer to a seasoned pasta dish, as if was referring to a "spaghetti".

The term capuliato, or capuliatu in Sicilian, has the meaning of amorsellato or triturato and typically refers to the type of processing.
