Description

Lentils are the oldest legume cultivated by man, always considered the meat of the poor. They are excellent in soups with vegetables, pasta, rice or spelled, enriched with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, they become a complete dish for a healthy diet.

Sicilian Giant Lentils have always been consumed for their goodness but also for the high content of fibre, protein and phosphorus which contributes to normal energy metabolism and the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.

Thanks to their important fiber intake, lentils are a valid aid for increasing the feeling of satiety and facilitating intestinal transit .

Thanks to the high quantity of minerals they are composed of, lentils are a suitable food in cases of fatigue, malnutrition and anemia .
