The Terre del Barone farm, owner of the Fattoria Valle dei Templi brand, is located in the heart of the Valley of the Temples Archaeological Park in Agrigento, on fertile lands cultivated for millennia thanks to the abundance of fresh water. 
For over 650 years, these lands were passed down among the barons of Agrigento. Since 2021, management has been transferred to Terre del Barone Srl, which has revitalized the 21 hectares that Luigi Pirandello called "the forest of almond and olive trees." After over 40 years of abandonment, a restoration project has been launched: crops have been converted to organic farming and ancient local varieties have been brought back into production. The mission is clear: to preserve the heritage of the past and look to the future, embodying a model of agroecological agriculture that combines sustainability, identity, and innovation. 
Since 2025, the Valley of the Temples has been recognized as an Italian Historic Rural Landscape, thanks to over 300 hectares of almond groves, olive groves, water sources, and ancient agricultural knowledge. The Fattoria Valle dei Templi brand products are the expression of this heritage: extra virgin olive oil, fragrant citrus fruits, lemon and orange compotes and syrups. These authentic excellences reflect a love for the land, respect for traditions, and the living culture of Sicily.
