History and Curiosities:

The traditional native vines such as Catarratto, Inzolia, Grillo and Nero d'Avola have been joined by non-native vines such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah which in these lands have found unparalleled pedo-climatic conditions for the maturation and production of great wines .
