The wines of the Cossentino Agricultural Company are born from respect for nature and careful and rigorous organic viticulture, including our Zatir Chardonnay Lucido Doc Sicilia Bio.

The company is located in the hilly part of the Gulf of Castellammare, in the Lavatore/Costa di Bisaccia district (350 meters above sea level), one of the most beautiful and evocative production areas of the Alcamo DOC.

The traditional native vines such as Catarratto, Inzolia, Grillo and Nero d'Avola have been joined by non-native vines such as Chardonnay , Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah which in these lands have found unparalleled pedo-climatic conditions for the maturation and production of great wines .

In the mid-90s the Cossentino farm was among the very first wineries in Sicily to obtain organic farming certification!
