The  Zibibbo Terre Siciliane PGI Wine   it's a  Sicilian sweet wine  with an intense and pleasant flavour, with unique organoleptic characteristics, it has an intense yellow colour with unmistakable golden hues and has a particular aroma deriving from the dried grapes which contains all the aromas of the Island.

The Zibibbo Terre Siciliane PGI Wine   It pairs well with dried fruit, almond paste, and traditional Sicilian desserts made with ricotta and marzipan. This Sicilian fortified wine is also excellent as a dessert or digestif, and is a great accompaniment to a meal.

History of Zibibbo:

The name zibibbo derives from the Arabic word  “zabib” , which means dried or raisined grapes, obtained from the late vinification of the grapes, which determines both the wine and the grape variety.  Zibibbo grape variety  It was introduced and spread in Sicily in the Mediterranean basin, in the lands conquered by the Arabs, who subsequently planted it on the island of Pantelleria.
