The Verdello lemon It is recognizable by its characteristic deep green color of its peel, protagonist of the so-called “third flowering” of the Syracusan sissy.
From mid-August until October, the lemon tree experiences a second flowering – we could actually say it re-flowers –, giving rise to the lemons known as verdelli.
This type of fruit has excellent organoleptic properties, as well as an abundant pulp content with a slightly acidic taste, rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
The wealth that this citrus fruit is able to produce for our territory has meant that it has taken the name of Green gold: the cultivations of Sicily Citrus are the protagonists of this production, making us happy to offer you Verdello of excellent quality, proudly grown without the use of any chemicals!
