The Lisciandrello company, producer of Templum White Wine , is a young Sicilian winery that produces its wines in the Cerasa winery, located 500 meters above sea level in San Giuseppe Jato, in the province of Palermo. The great advantage of this pulsating reality is that it has maintained an exquisitely artisanal dimension, where the indispensable is what is strictly necessary to obtain oenological results of a high quality level. Ownership is shared by a team: Giuseppe Lisciandrello, former winemaker and wine connoisseur, Luciano Tocco, expert winemaker, and Federico Curtaz, established Aosta Valley winemaker. The Lisciandrello winery produces wines with the Terre Siciliane IGT denomination, mainly from native varieties, with Perricone and Nerello Mascalese for the reds, while the whites are made from Catarratto, Chardonnay and Carricante grapes. The appreciation from critics and enthusiasts arrived quickly, thanks to products capable of transmitting all the essence of that exceptional corner of Sicily into the glass.

The harvest:

After mid-August the harvest begins, carried out in two moments. The first fraction is useful for bringing grapes with a higher degree of acidity to the cellar: the second - after 8/10 days - to have greater accumulation of sugars and odors.

Winemaking:

The grapes are cooled overnight at six degrees in refrigerating cells, then pressed and destemmed. The must settles for thirty hours and does not undergo any maceration. Thus we move on to the inoculation of the yeasts. Stabilization in steel and then bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections, it conveys the history and characteristics of the Sicilian territory. The aromas of hazelnut, typically varietal, butter and lemon leave room in the mouth for its flavor and freshness.
