Terravecchia
Since the 1950s, the Terravecchia family has been known in Sicily for various entrepreneurial activities, among which the production of chickpea flour stands out, an essential ingredient of the famous Palermo ''panelle''. For thirty-five years now, in the new role of selectors, packers and distributors of dried legumes, it has represented a reality in the Sicilian distribution panorama, proudly carried forward by a new generation of women, with the support and experience of family members. From the idea of selecting and re-evaluating the excellence of Sicilian agricultural production, which risked disappearing forever, the ''sun and taste of Sicily'' line was born : a selection that on a gastronomic level can represent this wonderful island in the world through its smells, its fragrances and flavors.
